Chidi Anunobi, J.D., M.B.A., M.S.

By all objective standards, Attorney Chidi Anunobi is a standout, battle tested trial attorney whose primary areas of practice are family law, business litigation, and medical negligence. Mr. Anunobi is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—a distinction that only a handful of Texas Attorneys have attained. Mr. Anunobi is among the select few attorneys that have multiple advanced degrees in addition to their Juris Doctorate degree. Mr. Anunobi has a Masters degree in Information Systems from Bowie State University, an M.B.A., from Carnegie Mellon University, and  Executive Leadership training from Yale University. Mr. Anunobi has been recognized by Thomson Reuters SuperLawyers publication for five straight years (2018 – 2022). Mr. Anunobi has successfully litigated ‘big cases’ and has sparred with other highly decorated attorneys in his chosen areas of practice.

Mr. Anunobi only works on cases that he believes in. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Anunobi had a successful decade-long career as a management and technology consultant for KPMG LLP, where he assisted several fortune 500 corporations across a myriad of business and technology transformational projects. Mr. Anunobi has the knowledge and the resources to take on any case that he accepts—there is simply no case that is too complicated or too big for him to handle within his scope of practice. If a case presents unique or novel questions of law, Mr. Anunobi has the cognitive ability, the intellectual horsepower and the tenacity to figure it out, and where appropriate, will partner with other lawyers to help his clients realize a more favorable outcome.

In his family law practice, Mr. Anunobi serves clients involved in highly contested divorce cases with complex valuation and property division issues, such as complex financial assets, international property disputes and business ownership disputes. Mr. Anunobi also assists clients involved in highly contested child custody disputes including Hague Convention cases, parental alienation, and cases involving allegations of child abuse. Mr. Anunobi believes in protecting the best interest of children and often serves as Amicus Attorney for children in cases involving custody disputes. Mr. Anunobi also mediates contested family law cases for other attorneys.

In his business litigation practice, Mr. Anunobi has achieved substantial results for clients involved in complex business and commercial litigation matters. Representative cases include breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, shareholder disputes, and business torts.

Mr. Anunobi also has a growing medical negligence practice and has achieved significant results for his medical malpractice clients. Some of the recent cases that Mr. Anunobi has successfully litigated or settled include, birth injury negligence, plastic surgery negligence, stroke negligence, gynecological injury, and wrongful death cases involving medical negligence.

When Mr. Anunobi is not practicing law, he enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife and family, and riding his road bike. He also enjoys playing tennis and golf.
